TopMondzorg Academy is created to inspire and empower all employees in their field in a fun way
How do you inspire and empower your employees to keep up, grow and make impact in their field in a fun and interactive way? To face this challenge, TopMondzorg created the TopMondzorg Academy to train all their employees in alignment with the organization's DNA.
TopMondzorg is behind Dental Clinics, TopOrtho, Proclin, MondzorgPlus, Omnios, MKA groep, Gerident and Pro-da. With their expertise in oral care, TopMondzorg has earned the trust of over 700,000 patients and clients who count on them for timely treatment, including emergency cases on a daily basis. And with the TopMondzorg Academy, they ignite the professional growth of their employees!
The Academy aims to make learning important content fun and engaging for everyone, with a focus on humanity and diversity. TopMondzorg believes that treating people with respect and kindness is a major key point for success. And who doesn't want a little kindness when they're in the dentist's chair?
With a human-centred approach, TinQwise worked closely with TopMondzorg to create an academy that equips everyone with the necessary tools to excel and embrace new learning opportunities. Using vibrant colors, engaging pictures, short videos, and interactive tasks, the platform showcases the diversity of clients that visit dental practices every day of the week. By highlighting the unique needs and perspectives of each patient, the academy aims to help dental professionals provide a more personalized and empathetic level of care.
Take, for example, the new training on handling a perfect agenda. With this training program in place, TopMondzorg's subgroups can confidently manage their agendas, ensuring that patients receive timely and appropriate care while employees remain productive. The result? Reduced waiting times, increased patient satisfaction, and a smoothly running practice.
And what about maintaining good patient files? Their training program covers everything from the ten steps involved in a periodical mouth examination to the six steps involved in making collaborative decisions with the patient. Employees learn how to keep critical patient information accurate, up-to-date, and accessible, ensuring that every patient receives the best possible care.

Creating and launching new content on the TopMondzorg Academy has received a lot of positive feedback from users and TopMondzorg itself. They even learned how to create their own content with a clear focus and didactical background in just one training session!
TopMondzorg keeps moving forward by developing its own comprehensive onboarding program. Given the diverse job types within the organization, there is a need to provide both shared and specific information during the onboarding process.

Initially, TopMondzorg aims to create content that covers essential introductions, ensuring its availability for various groups. Subsequently, the organization plans to utilize the learning path feature to guide users through their individual onboarding journeys.
This approach offers multiple benefits, including greater clarity for new employees and practice managers regarding the necessary onboarding content. But also simplified tracking of the onboarding progress, and centralization of all learning materials in one accessible location. Moreover, it guarantees consistency across practices by ensuring that, at the very least, the information and learning aspects of onboarding remain standardized.
As we speak, TopMondzorg is working on a hospitality training for the reception team and a live session for prevention assistants to foster organizational understanding and get to know each other. Meanwhile, the ‘dissatisfaction and complaints’ journey is almost a wrap. It's all about keeping the engagement rate high and growing the platform with valuable content.
